As HR Advisor you will work as part of the management team in one of our stores, taking the lead and ownership of all aspects of HR policy and procedures. You will be responsible for providing advice and support in employment relations, recruitment and development. Operating as an HR generalist you will ensure that all HR policies and procedures are implemented in line with legislative and audit requirements. Your performance will be measured against a set of key performance indicators so how you educate and influence the management team will be critical to your success.
Using your knowledge and experience of managing HR for a large/multi site, you will be able to identify areas of opportunity where HR can work effectively and drive efficiency. This is a role which will require for you to get involved with hands on approach. Your commitment and drive will result in supporting the store's success and profitability through maximising people's contribution whilst minimising costs. You will have direct line management responsibilities, managing an HR administrator, who you will coach and develop to become an expert in their field. You will need to have the capability of building effective relationships and the ability to communicate with people at all levels. You will use your flexible style to manage the needs and concerns of employees against the interests of the business.
