    Purpose of Job
    1. To effectively identify and recruit appropriate learners and client companies to participate in Work Based Learning / Commercial Programmes.
    2. Work closely within team to ensure business growth, delivery of contracts and achievement of agreed targets.
    Key Tasks

    o Establish a ready "bank" of potential employers placement and job opportunities
    o Market & promote the clients services / organisation (geographically and by sector) via Connexions, Schools, Colleges to identify potential learners and employers
    o Develop and maintain own local employer and recruitment networks
    o Conduct Health & Safety assessments on employer premises to validate suitability for potential learners
    o Facilitate learner interviews with prospective employers to secure suitable learning opportunities
    o Providing coaching, guidance and support to the learner, work place supervisor and employer, as required
    o Provide support to Business Development Manager / Regional Managers where multiple learner opportunities exist
    o Ensure that all documentation is accurately completed and submitted within agreed timescales
    o Develop & maintain communication with internal and external customers
    o Undertake any self development identified during performance review and own continuous professional development
    o Adhere to all contractual and funding policy procedures
    o Adhere to all of the clients policies and procedures

    Key Measurements

    Performance against Training's Key Performance Indicator's - 100% contract performance
    100% employed status learners
    100% H&S Initial vetting of all prospective employers
    Maximum occupancy on training programmes by recruiting
    4 new mainstream starts/week
    1 new learner progression or commercial start, which will equate to 20 new learner starts / month
    Accurate and timely completion of paperwork e.g. H&S ILR's

    Key Requirements
    Qualifications

    • ENTO H&S D Unit or equivalent
    • IAG at level 3 or working towards essential
    • NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in sales / marketing (desirable)
    • NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in relevant occupational area (desirable)

    Experience

    • Proven track record of consistently achieving performance targets
    • Understanding of (and belief) in work based learning and vocational learning

    • Strong sales/marketing skills
    • Strong customer service focus
    • Ability to achieve deadlines and targets
    • Empathy with young people
    • Desire to assist learners achieve their career and learning aspirations • High level of self motivation - ability to work on own initiative

    • Well developed interpersonal & communication skills
    • Ability to motivate others and influence work behaviours

    Other

    • Must have use of a car and hold a current driving license
    • Be able to work flexible hours and locations as required
