An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Office Administrator to join a unique company based in Prudhoe who specialise in the supply of ABB Variable Speed Drives, ABB Motors and Siemens Instrumentation, Saftronic Soft Starts and in-house manufactured electrical panels built to specification.

The role of the Office Administrator will be:

Support Admin team - Ensuring jobs are prioritised and completed within schedule.
Purchasing - raising and progressing ad hoc purchase orders
Project admin - ensuring systems and procedures are kept up to date in line with current legislation
Mailshots - Coordinating, filtering databases, writing letter and distribution mailshots
Holiday / Sickness Records - Ensuring procedures are followed ie back to work interviews, forms etc are completed
Hire Fleet Coordination - Allocation of units, liaison with customers, logistics, delivery and upkeep of documentation
Building Maintenance - Ensuring water, power, gas appliances are serviced and general up-keep and maintenance is carried out in accordance with lease
Upkeep of Proforma Documents - maintaining quality and uniformity of documentation for employees to complete
Support Operations Manager with upkeep of policies and procedures - ie HR, HandS, Quality etc
General Telephone Enquiries
Integrate and Support other departments during busy periods, sickness and holiday cover

The Office Administrator must be customer focused, with a proactive approach to day-to-day work as well as being able to maintain effective relationships with current customers as well as Managers and staff. Experience in Microsoft Office is essential.

A forward thinking individual who can achieve the best processes for the department and ensure deadlines are met. The Office Administrator must be a team player and be able to contribute towards team goals, equally they must be able to demonstrate the ability to work under own initiative at times.

In return the Office Administrator will receive:

A salary of 15,000 per year
A holiday entitlement of 23 days plus bank holidays
Non-contributory stakeholder pension

The office is ideally situated, with access from the local transport and A1 and A695 motorways.
