Role overview:
The main responsibilities will be designing, documenting and producing specifications for game systems, user interface, mechanics and other content
Functional responsibilities:
"Creation of game rules and systems that facilitate progressive gameplay dynamics
"Participation in the development of gameplay prototypes
"Communication with other team members regarding ideas, features and systems
"Implementation and revision of gameplay via iterative design process
"Development of game design documentation for associated systems, environments and characters
"Collaboration in defining creative vision and technical specification for games
Skills required:
"Be able to take a feature and drive it to completion
"Strong documentation skills
"Robust knowledge of past, current and upcoming story/action games
"Experience with game systems design (on shipped titles)
Skills desired:
"Experience with scripting languages
Education and experience:
"Must have at least 2 years of industry experience
"Must have at least one shipped (preferably 2) title on current consoles (PS3/ Xbox 360)
