Our Client is looking to recruit an experienced Panel Wireperson to build bespoke control systems for various applications .
The successful candidate will be required to build new control systems and refurbish older control units.There will also be the occasional need to carry out installation/ remedial work at customers premises.
Tasks:
1)Build DOL starters
2)Build Inverter Drive/Soft Start control systems
3)Check correct components issued
4)Layout enclosure back plates and doors
5)Wire to Schematic diagrams
To mark up drawings with modifications.
6)Assist in company testing procedures when required
7)Carry out remedial work at customer premises
Experience and Qualifications
The successful candidate will be commercially awareandhave a strong engineering background in both technical designandmanufacture of control panels.
Qualified to a minimum of C andG Part 1,2 and 3, HNC/ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
IEE 16 Edition Inspections and Testing Certificate
Have good working knowledge of 24-110 SELV, 240 - 690 LV, 3.3 - 11kV MV etc.
Direct on Line starting and Start Delta Starting knowledge is essential
Working Knowledge of PLC, Soft Start and Variable Speed Drives, Instrumentation and 4 -20mA Control would be an advantage, however training will be provided.
Excellent Communication skills are vital in this role, along with the natural aptitude of representing the Company in a professional and effective manner.

You must be customer focused, with a proactive approach to day-to-day work as well as being able to maintain effective relationships with current customers.
You should have the desire to enhance your product knowledge by use of our key partners ABB and SIEMENS training facilities and attend courses when arranged by the company.
You will also be required to have a flexible approach to working overtime as occasionally some panels need to be constructed within a short time frame.
You must be a team player, and be able to contribute towards team goals, equally you must be able to demonstate the ability to work under own initiative at times.
The role offers working Mon to Thurs - 8am to 4:30pm and 8am to 3pm on fridays. Overtime paid at time and half for over 40 hours/week
