A leading manufacturing site in Durham is currently looking for a Specification Co-ordinator, to join the technical team.
The Specification Co-ordinator's role will include writing and continually updating raw material, finished product and packaging specifications, inline with food safety legislation and statutory guidelines.
Main duties will include:
To sign off and agree finished product specifications.
Develop raw materials in conjunction with the supplier to reduce tolerances where possible to ensure conformity to the agreed customer specification.
To add and advise on Raw Material Specifications, collating information from these to develop a database in line retailer requirements.
To ensure that Pack Copy and Art Work critical paths are managed through to completion.
To ensure that changes to customer requirements are effectively communicated throughout the business.

To be computer literate
Qualifications / Experience Required for the Position:
Formal relevant qualification up to or equivalent to HND level
Relevant experience in specification writing
Candidates will ideally have working experience in a similar role.
