General Manager £24,000 (Northumberland)
Due to the continued development of this fine Hotel in Northumberland, we are currently seeking a General Manager.
The Hotel has 14 bedrooms of which 7 have been recently refurbished to a high standard, a very stylish Restaurant and Bar and the refurbishment of the public toilets is starting imminently. The Hotel is situated in a picturesque village on the Northumberland coast, just 7 miles from Alnwick.
Initially we are looking for someone who will continue to develop the standards and the business of the Hotel in general. We are striving to be the best rated Hotel in Northumberland and to achieve 1 rosette status within 18 months and potentially to achieve 2 rosettes within a further 12 months.
We are also currently looking to acquire further properties within the North East of England and we see this role developing into that of Assistant Group Operations Manager overseeing the operations of one and potentially more properties in our portfolio.
We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of managing quality operations as well as having a sound financial knowledge and good man management abilities. Currently an Operations Manager or Deputy looking for their first General Management position or a General Manager experienced in running similar sized quality lead operations, we are looking for someone with the drive and enthusiasm to take the Hotel to the next level. The ideal candidate will have the drive and business knowledge to further progress in the company.
An attractive salary, 28 days holiday and a bonus scheme will be offered to the right candidate. Due to the nature of this position, we do not foresee offering permanent live in accommodation for this position although temporary live in would be made available.
