To work with a small dedicated team within an established manufacturing business. You will be responsible for coordinating customer orders (Utilising SAP), from quotation through to completion, and dispatch (requiring knowledge of Letters of Credit and Export Documentation ). You will liaise directly with external customers and internal production planners, and other key personnel.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
• Smooth operation of the Internal Sales Office.
• Responsibility for the coordination of key sales accounts and in-house business.
• Negotiation of Letters of credit and completion of Export documentation
• Understanding and execution of both Export and UK shipping procedures.
• Key contact for the business transfer from a European Manufacturing partner.
• Development of a quotation and offer model through to order completion.
• Development of a monitoring system to improve invoice and sales order accuracy.
• Development of a reporting system detailing sales activity on a defined frequency.
• Management of customer rebates.
• Continuous improvement of the department in conjunction with the Head of Supply Chain.
• Develop an “on time in full” report.
• Possibility of supervisory responsibilities
The Candidate:
• Must have extensive SAP experience and advanced knowledge in all Microsoft Office Applications in particular Excel.
• Supervisory /management experience would be an advantage, but is not essential
• Must have competence in Letters of Credit and Export Documentation.
• Language skills, especially German would be an added advantage, but not essential.
