| Our Client, a leading UK publishing house, requires a retail sales consultant for their city centre gallery. This prestigious company is looking for a candidate to work within a small, dedicated team dealing with customers face to face on a daily basis. The position; •Full Time / Permanent •Available to work 5/7 days •Salary: £15-17,000+OTE. The main duties of the position include; •Selling art work, on which you will recieve bonus •Generating New Business leads/interest in the art work •Dealing with different Artists and their pieces •Working front of house, dealing with customers on a personal level and going out of your way to meet the customers needs •Generating a list of existing client who have an interest in a particular Artist and keeping them up to date with new works that are regularly arriving •General maintanance of the gallery, include administration duties and tidying •Setting up exhibitions •Working irregular hours on a rota based system The ideal candidate will have; •Experience working within a customer facing role •Experience working within a target orientated sales environment Candidates must be; •Pleasant, courteous with a positive attitude •Driven, passionate and motivated •Sharp, with good initiative •Well presented •Flexibility in working hours It is not essential to have any previous background knowledge of Art, the correct attitude and personality will hold more prominence in interview. |
