ROLE
To establish project technical requirements through interpretation of specifications
To design power and control solutions that satisfy these project requirements
Ensure all bought out equipment associated with projects is correctly specified
Complete Technical Bid Analysis
Check and approve vendor design documents, ensuring they meet project requirements
Generate equipment and "system level" test and commissioning documentation
Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) at vendors works, ensuring that equipment is build and tested to the appropriate standards and documents
Carry out on-site test and commissioning of power and control systems once on-site installation is complete
EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Applicants should be qualified to Degree standard in an Electrical Engineering discipline
Proven design experience within a process, oil and gas, or petrochem environment
3 to 5 years experience in the specifying, design, and testing of electrical control panels, power transformers and LV power distribution systems (including hazardous area applications)
Computer literate - able to utilise in-house design software packages and proficient in a wide variety of MS Office programs (Word, Excel)
Be a self-starter/self-motivated, detail oriented and a good communicator, both written and oral.

Preferred:
Full driving licence
IEE 16th or 17th Edition Certification
COMPEX certification
