Full Description:
Our client is a leading local employer and we are now seeking to recruit a wood machinists / case & pallet makers for permanent opportunities. You will set up and operate machines for cutting and shaping wood, working from drawings and written instructions. You will use different woodcutting machines, planes, saws, and nail guns to achieve the required results. Candidates will ideally be able to interpret plans and instructions and be able to picture the finished article from these, so a good awareness of space and size is essential. Applicants will have wood machining / joinery experience and or qualifications, and a work based reference from a previous employer. A Fork Lift Truck License (counter balance) would also be advantageous.
