Full Description:
Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacturer of industrial electrical and mechanical safety equipment. You will lead a team of Approvals, Prototyping and Testing personnel (currently 7 Technicians / Engineers plus 1 student), support new product development projects with R&D Services and resources, lead and coordinate small projects in conjunction with Sales and Marketing, take part in manufacturing process improvement work, and playing a key role in the leadership team of R&D UK (1 of 4 members, total staff in the department is 34). You will be degree qualified, experienced in new product development processes (from concept to launch), and have manufacturing improvement knowledge (preferable Six Sigma).
