Full Description:
Our client offers a full range of civil engineering activities through a network of regional offices including their Newcastle upon Tyne branch.
Based from this site you will maintain effective communication with contract managers, project management, managing / project QS and other associated disciplines, assist in staff matters (recruitment, behavioral issues, and staff allocation). Provide commercial contact with supply chain partners through contract vetting and input to subcontract documents.
Produce and present monthly / quarterly reports including cashflow information.
Initiate discussions concerning project performance and provide commercial input to project strategy. Attend and provide input to project start-up and close-out meetings.
You will have knowledge of quantity surveying to corporate member level of ICES or RICS (preferred) or equivalent and be qualified to HND or degree level.
