Our client, a world wide brand are currently looking for outgoing people to join their successful company as an Area Sales Manager. You will be responsible for achieving quarterly targets in line with UK sales objectives by recruiting, managing and developing your self-employed team.
You will build, manage and motivate a team of high performing Sales Leaders and Sales Representatives to promote and sell products around the local area.
You will review, plan and forecast business activity, create business plans in line with business needs and work to performance standards as set by the Company. You will also be responsible for performance management issues and territory coordination.
You will also have financial responsibilities such as dealing with the budget, revenue, profit plan expenditures, etc.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, have the ability to use your own initiative and drive for results and experience of working to targets. You will also be from a sales background and be willing to work flexible hours.
You must have the ability of working to tight deadlines, be able to effectively manage workload and identify priorities and be able to work well under pressure. Excellent communication skills are a must along with a bright an outgoing personality.
