| My client based in Newcastle is a successful market leading publisher and information service provider to professionals within the construction industry. They currently have a Finance Assistant vacancy within the busy finance department. The position involves a variety of financial and administrative duties supporting the day to day running of the department including sales ledger, credit control and other general account duties. Previous experience within a commercial finance role is desirable and a working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, is essential. Experience of computerised accounts software would be advantageous. You should have a confident telephone manner and have the ability to work well as part of a team. The successful candidate should be studying for, or be prepared to work towards, the AAT qualification. |
