Full Description:
The De Vere Hotel group present a vast selection of first class hotels spread across the most stunning locations in the country. Due to the ongoing success of the hotel group they have set up a central reservations contact centre, based within the grounds of Slaley Hall, Hexham one of De Vere’s most prestigious hotels and winner of last years coveted Hotel of the Year award. Due to this exciting expansion De Vere Hotels are looking for highly motivated customer focused staff to join their reservations team.

As a Central Reservations Sales Advisor your main duties will include:

*Taking inbound calls from customers interested in arranging a stay at one of De Vere’s hotels and participating in one of their many leisure activities
*Making reservations and amending existing bookings
*Converting enquiries into guaranteed bookings through the promotion of the De Vere hotel brand and additional services
*Delivering excellent customer service that satisfies and exceeds the customers’ expectations
*Building rapport with customers and developing relationships to ensure future business

The ideal candidate will have;

*Previous experience within a customer care environment
*Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
*Computer literacy skills
*A customer focused attitude
*The ability to listen to and understand the customers’ needs
*The ability to empathise with the customer showing individual attention and personal involvement
*A reliable and flexible commitment to work
*The ability to remain calm under pressure
*Team player skills
