| Support and Development Analyst Our Client is in search of a Support and Development Analyst in the ICT Department at their Newcastle office. Role: 50-50 split between Helpdesk Support and Systems Development. To provide 1st and 2nd Line Support to all staff covering all applications and systems in use across the Firm (Microsoft Office to Mobile phones). To assist in the development of the companies’ systems, in particular Case Management, future Intranet Projects and database design and migration. Required Experience: • Experience of working in a similar Support and Development Role. • Experience of configuring and networking Microsoft Windows XP based computer systems. • Knowledge of networking beyond the World Wide Web • Proven commercial experience • Commercial exposure to MS Windows Server 2003 environments • Commercial exposure to Outlook client • Have experience within a Desktop environment and also be comfortable providing 'hands on' support as well. Required Skills; A good working knowledge of the following languages: • Visual Basic for applications (VBA) • Visual Basic Script (VBS) • Active Server Pages (ASP) • XML, CSS, HTML, XHTML (favourable but not essential) • ASP.NET 2.0, VB.NET using Visual Studio 2003, 2005 or 2008 (favourable but not essential) |
