Leading NE Professional Services organisationn is seeking to appoint a Support and Development Analyst.

Reporting directly to the ICT Manager, the role will involve supporting staff over three sites in the North East. Day to day activities will include:
- 50/50 split between Helpdesk and Systems Development
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support to all staff covering all applications and systems
- Assisting in the development of internal systems including database design and migration.
The company is seeking the following experience:
- 2 years in a similar role
- experience of configuring and networking MS Windows XP
- knowledge of networking beyond the World Wide Web
- commercial exposure to MS Windows Server 2003 environments
- commercial exposure to Outlook client
- working within a Desktop environment as well as providing hands-on support as well
Interested candidates should have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
In addition you should have a working knowledge of the following languages:
- Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
- Visual Basic Script (VBS)
- Active Server Pages (ASP)
- XML, CSS, HTML, XHTML (desirable but not essential)
- ASP.NET 2.0, VB.NET using Visual Studio 2003, 2005 or 2008 (desirable but not esential)
