Job Description
One of the UK\'s leading high street banks is looking to recruit cashiers for their branch in Penrith, Cumbria.
Working as a cashier/customer adviser your role will be to deliver effective, efficient and compliant customer services, working with colleagues in order to maximise customer satisfaction and overall branch performance. Duties include:
dealing with customers, identifying sales opportunities and referring to a Person Banker or Specialist colleague
meeting & greeting customers and attending to their needs
balancing tills, and dealing with back office and administrative activities
escalating customer queries , complaints and feedback effectively
working collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of customer service ideally in a sales environment, with excellent interpersonal skills and the initiative to quickly resolve any customer issues that come up. Prior knowledge of banking products or services would be useful but is not essential.
