Full Description:
• What’s involved:
1. To work with other senior staff of the Directorate in order to implement and maintain a scheme of delegated budgetary control.
2. To prepare annual revenue and capital estimates along with the ongoing control of estimate movement and revision.
3. To ensure an effective model of budgetary control, providing senior staff and other budget managers with regular financial information and advice.
4. To ensure that all Directorate staff are aware of and adhere to the Financial Regulations and Standing Orders of the Local Authority and to maintain appropriate financial accounting systems.
5. To liase, as appropriate, with other Local Authorities, Health and other partners with respect to financial issues.
6. To assist in the preparation, monitor and completion of grant bids and claims in order to ensure all documentation meets the requirements of Audit.
