Job Description
One of the UK\'s leading high street banks is looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Branch Manager for their branch in Kendal, Cumbria.
You will help to set the pace, tone and standards for up to 15 direct reports but also help coordinate the efforts of specialists such as mortgage advisors and local business managers so the branch delivers a seamless service to its customers.
40% of your role is people management and all that entails. 30% of the role will be business management and the rest taken up with site management and administration. In addition you will be acting as escalation point for customer complaints and working with the Branch Manager to bring to life the Company mission and raise the Company\'s profile
The successful candidate will be an accomplished people manager who can inspire a team to combine a strong sales focus with high standards of customer service. A knowledge of banking products, services, regulations and operations will enable you to provide essential input on how the branch is run. In addition you will excellent communication and presentation, excellence in teamworking and good commercial awareness.
